The Office of Institutional Improvement (SEAI) assists the Rector with executive tasks connected to the analysis and referring of administrative processes and in the elaboration and execution of institutional improvement measures, seeking to guarantee an efficient administrative performance at UFSC.

The main responsibilities of the Office are:

  • assist the Rector’s Office in the analysis, instruction and direction of administrative processes;
  • express opinions on the requests and recommendations of the Brazilian Public Prosecutor’s Office, and give them their respective directions;
  • develop policies, actions or events aimed at institutional improvement.

Since 2020, SEAI has also been appointed as Integrity Management Unit at UFSC, being responsible for the structuring, execution and monitoring of the Institutional Integrity Program.
