Office of Institutional Improvement (SEAI)

The Office of Institutional Improvement (SEAI) assists the Rector with executive tasks related to the analysis and referral of administrative processes and in the development and implementation of institutional improvement measures, seeking to ensure efficient administrative performance at UFSC.

Its main responsibilities include:

• assisting the Rector’s Office in the analysis, instruction and referral of administrative processes;
• expressing opinions on requests and recommendations issued by the Brazilian Public Prosecutor’s Office, and ensuring their appropriate referral;
• developing policies, measures, actions, and events aimed at institutional improvement.

Since 2020, SEAI has also served as UFSC’s Integrity Management Unit, being responsible for the structuring, implementation, and monitoring of the Institutional Integrity Program.
